It's a wonderful place with an electric energy. But it's also very dysfunctional and corrupt. I'd recommend visiting, i've been to a few states and it's better than any trip to Europe or America i've ever had.
Wow Oliver, great read. I really enjoyed this post. Thanks for the background information on the projected Indian economic growth. Some of your stocks look interesting.
An Indian index fund I'm sure will also give very solid returns, but for those out there who prefer individual stocks I think these are some solid bets.
I was looking for the ābestā India ETF (as European investor) already but after the tariffs, the fact that the US is their main export country and they are not on great standing and the overall opinion that it looks like their demographic dividend isnāt being unlocked since the low labour prices arenāt as important as before (also thanks to AI maybe), whatās you take on investing in India now?
Thank you for the incredible overview into one of the most fascinating trends of the next decades that is Indiaās rise! Really enjoyed reading this and need to start diving into some Indian companies at some point! Have you had time to research this market more and form strong convictions on some Indian stocks (apart from the ones in this article)?
Have you been to India, Oliver?
No never. Have you?
Yes
Any comments?
